AYURVEDA IN DRUG INDUCED TOXICITY

ABSTRACT
According to W.H.O., drug related side effect & adverse reaction is defines as - '' an adverse drug reaction is a response to a medicine which is NOXIOUS & UNINTENDED, and which occurs at doses normally used in man.'' In modern medicine they prescribe their patients a drug with heavy toxicity just reassuming them that the difficulties they may be having with their medication are temporary, but how poisons are adoptable in any form with a prolonged time period or even for life long. AYURVEDA has been around for thousands of years and there is no integration exists between it and modern medicines in respect to drug toxicity. So there is a hope of ray. AYURVEDA, the science of long life & most ancient medical system can be used in combination with modern medicine to provide better treatment & as a anti-dote therapy in toxicity of modern medicines with not having any own toxic effects or adverse effects.
