ABSTRACT
Facial aging begins from the birth and continues thereafter. The rate of progress is affected by genetic, anatomical, and environmental factors. The face consists of three components: the skin, the soft tissue, and the bone supporting the overall shape of a face. The skin is composed of epidermis, dermis, and subcutaneous tissue and the epidermis consists of the keratinocyte, which has keratin for a defensive purpose. It is widely known that the decrease of skin elasticity due to an exposure to ultraviolet rays or aging is associated with skin laxity. Moreover, a previous study reported that the facial aging influenced subcutaneous tissues as well as skin. Therefore, the skin laxity treatment for subcutaneous tissues can improve the symptom considerably in the cosmetic medical treatment. For the Doctor Care Service.
