Yukito Sasaki*
ABSTRACT
Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is one of the most commonly occurred problems for dermatologists. AGA at an early age is often cosmetically unacceptable. AGA affects both genders in a pattern of hair loss from the scalp. The pathogenesis of Androgenetic alopecia is complex, so far the major factor emphasized to be involved has been the undesirable androgen metabolism at the hair follicle level. While the major treatment options continue to be topical minoxidil, systemic Finasteride and hair transplantations, we reviewed a cosmeceutical product in addition. In this review, we introduce the hair promoting activity of Hairfilling® through stimulation of the telogen to anagen transition. The very shape of hairline is the difference between in 20s, 30s, and 40s. While the hairline of those in 20s is natural, curved, and clear, that of older people becomes irregular due to reduced elasticity. The widened forehead makes the face bigger, thereby making it look flatter and older. However, do not be worried. Through Hairfilling®, you can make a confident hairline by receiving rich nutrition.
