A STUDY OF ANATOMICAL CHANGES IN KATI KASHERUKA (LUMBAR VERTEBRAE) DUE TO OCCUPATIONAL EFFECTS IN I.T. PROFESSIONALS & PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

ABSTRACT
Aim: To observe the effect of occupation on Kati Kasheruka. Objective: To observe the effect of Occupation on structural aspect on Kati Kasheruka in IT professions & Primary School Teachers. Study design: Observational study. Source: 30 volunteers who have complained of Low back pain from IT professionals, 30 volunteers who have complained of Low back pain from Primary School Teachers.An observed the structural changes of lumbar vertebrae in IT Professionals and Primary School Teachers through the X-ray investigations. Result: In IT Professionals result was found that the mild reduce disc space was L5 –S1. The structural changes observed on multilevel marginal osteophytes with endplate sclerosis in L1 – L5 followed by early lumbar spondylosis. In Primary School Teachers result was found that spondylosis noted at L5 level along with degenerative osteophytes. Conclusion: From this study we will concluded that IT Professionals are more prone structural changes in all lumbar vertebrae specially in L5, S1 vertebrae while in Primary School teachers are less prone to structural changes in all lumbar vertebrae it is only effect in L5 vertebral changes was noted.
