The subjects were between the ages of 35-68 years and consisted of 52 (52%) males and 48 (48%) females. Whole blood and serum samples were collected from these subjects which was used to determine their haematological parameters as well as serum Creatinine, Urea and Electrolyte levels using standard methods.
