ABSTRACT
Meningiomas are intracranial tumors arising from the cap of arachnoid cells. Intraosseous meningiomas are a variety of ectopic meningiomas in which the meningothelial cells invade the bone wall, resulting in hyperostosis. Angiomatous meningioma, a variant, is a rare tumor that frequently occurs in the spheno-orbital region, which confuses it with primary bone tumors. We report the case of a 40-year-old female patient who presented with exophthalmos with left swelling of progressive onset for 4 years. CT scan showed the lesion and histological examination revealed an angiomatous meningothelial meningioma. The patient was treated.
